Job Summary:
The S4 Hana Software Architect provides strategic leadership and technical direction for an enterprise-wide SAP S4

HANA transformation program. This role defines architectural standards, documents legacy and modern frameworks, and guides the evolution of enterprise applications. The position connects business goals with technical solutions while driving innovation and long-term technology strategy.

Essential Duties:

• Provide technical oversight and final review for complex solution implementations across IT and business teams.
• Document enterprise architecture standards, identify technical debt, and create blueprints for future technologies.
• Serve as the technical authority for the SAP S4
  
  HANA ecosystem, ensuring scalable, reliable integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems including CRM, QMS, PLM, MES, HRIS, Finance, Planning, and Sourcing.
• Lead architectural review boards to guide design decisions and ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor technical leads and developers by translating complex architecture into actionable guidance.
• Design and maintain compliant, secure, and auditable system architectures for regulated industries.
• Partner with IT leadership to provide visibility into feasibility, risks, and long-term architectural impacts.
• Develop scalable and reusable application frameworks and integration patterns to support enterprise growth.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and conduct build-versus-buy assessments aligned with business strategy.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years in enterprise application architecture or technical leadership.
• Experience supporting complex SAP S4
  
  HANA and integrated non-SAP environments in regulated industries such as Finance, Healthcare, or Aerospace.
• Background working for global organizations using both on-premise and cloud technologies.

Skills:

• Expert knowledge of system architecture, data integration, and cloud-native design.
• Strong technical problem-solving abilities and project oversight skills.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and develop technical talent.
• Understanding of regulatory constraints within highly regulated industries.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for business audiences.
• Strong financial acumen to evaluate ROI and cost impacts of technical decisions.
• Ability to navigate complex corporate environments and drive alignment.

Physical Requirements:

Compensation:

• Target Pay Range: 150,000 to 180,000 USD
• Actual salary depends on education, experience, skills, internal equity, and market alignment.
• Target Bonus: 15 percent of base salary
