Compensation Range: $23.00/Hour (This is a tip pool eligible role)
SummaryAs part of the Guest Services team, the Guest Services Captain is responsible for warmly welcoming guests, addressing inquiries, ensuring a seamless arrival experience, troubleshooting issues, and supporting as well as coaching staff to uphold exceptional guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
Responsibilities- Follow established steps of service to oversee host operations
- Welcome and engage with all guests to create a memorable experience
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn, adapt to feedback, and comply with all company policies and safety regulations
- Maintain communication with the Guest Services team and Front of House Manager
- Ensure host stand is stocked with menus and any necessary materials
- Assist with Premium and special guest accommodations
- Actively assist hourly team members throughout the shift and coach them to ensure the highest level of guest experience and adherence to service standards
- May assist the department manager with select tasks related to onboarding and training hourly team members
- Perform the duties of a Table Assistant and Guest Services Attendant as needed to facilitate the guest experience
- Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by any manager or VP of Operations based on business needs
- 18+ years of age
- Minimum 1+ year of supervisory experience or a similar role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passionate about serving others
- Strong conflict resolution skills to provide exceptional service and maintain a positive guest experience
- Able to communicate effectively in English
- Must have reliable form of transportation and be able to work flexible shifts, inclusive of weekends, days, late nights, and holidays
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Able to distinguish colors and see both up close and at a distance
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Able to use manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and fine motor skills
- Must be able to walk at least 10,000 steps per shift, including stairs, inclines, and declines
- Able to pivot, transition between seated and standing positions, kneel, stoop, and lift throughout shifts
- Able to work in confined spaces
- Comfortable working in loud, distracting environments
- Able to multitask and work efficiently with speed, accuracy, and composure in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant and entertainment venue under pressure
