Overview
This position serves as a strategic thought partner to executive leadership, supporting enterprise decision-making through structured analysis, scenario modeling, and financial business cases. Reporting to the Sr Director of Fin Ops and close partnership with the CEO, this role applies a financial lens to strategic and operational initiatives, translating complex data into clear, decision-ready insights.
Responsibilities- Develop scenario, sensitivity, and what-if analyses to evaluate strategic initiatives, capital investments, pricing actions, operational changes, and growth opportunities.
- Build business cases that clearly articulate financial impact, ROI, payback period, risks, and trade-offs to support executive decision-making
- Prepare executive-level presentations and materials for the CEO and leadership team, synthesizing complex financial and operational data into concise, actionable recommendations
- Translate strategic and operational initiatives into quantified financial implications, partnering with FP&A to align assumptions and avoid duplicative or conflicting models
- Design and maintain dashboards and analytical tools (e.g., Power BI) that support forward-looking insights and strategic monitoring, not just historical reporting
- Identify key value drivers and KPIs that connect operational performance to financial outcomes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing and Finance to understand business drivers and inform analysis
- Provide ad hoc strategic analysis as requested by executive leadership
- Support documentation and knowledge-sharing to ensure analytical consistency and repeatability.
- Other special projects as assigned
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in business analytics, strategic finance, FP&A, management consulting, or a related analytical role. (Required)
- Manufacturing experience. (Required)
- Minimum 2 years of data visualization experience with programs such as Power
BI or Tableau. - Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret and model financial statements and business drivers.
- Working knowledge of GAAP sufficient to ground analysis and partner effectively with Accounting and FP&A.
- Self-motivated, with capability to work with minimum supervision and accustomed to being in positions of responsibility and accountability.
- High level problem solving and analytical skills.
- Must be proactive and able to work well under pressure and deadlines.
- Must be able to work well with all members of the accounting team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with Acumatica desirable.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Financial Analysis, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Required).
AdditionalClassification: Exempt / Salary, paid bi-weekly, benefits eligible
