An established engineering and construction consulting firm is seeking an experienced Field Administrator with a background in mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing systems. Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of contract administration, including drafting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and construction professionals to ensure that contracts are executed in a timely manner.Conduct onsite observations of MEP systems to ensure compliance with contract specifications and industry standards.Manage and resolve any contractual issues that may arise during the project.Maintain thorough documentation of all contract‑related correspondence and changes.Assist in the development and implementation of contract management procedures and protocols.Use Microsoft Office tools to maintain records, generate reports, and present data.Ensure that all contractual obligations are met by all parties involved.Collaborate with the legal team to address any legal issues related to contracts.Provide training and guidance to team members on contract administration processes and best practices.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum of 2+ years of experience in contract administration, preferably within the construction industry.Solid understanding of MEP trades and experience with onsite observations of MEP systems.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to interpret complex contracts and technical specifications.Knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations.Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to handle contractual disputes effectively.Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.This position offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the successful execution of construction projects.
