Basic Qualifications
- Active Top Secret required at start and ability to obtain and maintain clearance
- IAT Level II/ IAM Level I DoD 8570 certification (Sec+ CE or equivalent)
- Windows/RHEL System admin experience, installing, tuning & troubleshooting Cyber Tools such as, ESS/HBSS, Config
OS, Splunk/Elastic - Experience configuring, running, and scripting audit tools.
- Demonstrated knowledge in Software Assurance (SwA) through static and dynamic code analysis (e.g. Fortify)
Our Team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2
BMC) Global team, is engineering, developing and integrating new capability for the Missile Defense System that currently protects the United States and its allies.
The team, as a whole, is very large but is broken down into many smaller agile teams that work together in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Our team is also, responsible for tasks such as Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security and enhancing other critical, leading-edge missile defense technologies.
The Work In This Incredibly Important Role You Will Be- Tuning and optimizing cybersecurity tools such as ESS, Elastic, Config
OS, and Tanium to enhance system performance and threat detection capabilities. - Responsible for creating custom dashboards to visualize security data, ensuring quick identification of issues and trends.
- Integrating various security products, ensuring seamless communication and data flow across the infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to these tools, as well as managing upgrades and deployments to ensure the latest features and security patches are implemented effectively.
- Support program test milestones through pre-test preparations, participating in the tests, analysis of the results, and preparation of required artifacts supporting authorization.
- Coordinating across the program to address identified deficiencies during RMF assessment activities.
- This position requires a Top Secret government security clearance to start; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
- This position will involve around 10% travel to our customer sites throughout the U.S.
As leader of the C2
BMC team, Lockheed Martin directs a partnership of highly responsive industry leaders developing and fielding the backbone of America’s missile defense.
Together, this national team supports the design, development, test, integration and fielding of hardware and software elements that enable the Missile Defense System (MDS) to function effectively and continually.
You will also have the opportunity to interface with our key customers in the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of technical professionals including software and systems engineers, architects, and our project engineering team.
As part of C2
BMC-G you will support on site at Schriever Space Force Base located about 10 miles east of Colorado Springs, Colorado. With the mountains as the backdrop for daily living, you will begin to appreciate the 360 days of sunshine we receive here and still be able to play “winter” sports in the middle of May.
- Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system administration skills
- Previous background working in a virtual environment.
- Previous background working with dockers and containers
- Administer ACAS and ESS (formally HBSS)
- Previous experience with ConfigOS
