EM Alliance is recruiting a Program Director to lead a new community-based Emergency Medicine residency program at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center
, located on Florida’s Gulf Coast. This is a unique opportunity to help establish and shape a residency program from the ground up, including leadership of the ACGME application process
, with a targeted July 2027 program start
.

• 27 hours physician coverage
• 19 hours app coverage
• 23 beds

• Founding Program Director for a new EM residency program
• Community-based training environment
• Targeted program start:
  July 2027
• Initially a consulting role transitioning to 0.6 FTE Program Director
  , with remaining FTE in clinical practice
• Leadership opportunity with strong institutional support

• Current board certification by the ABEM/AOBEM and specialty expertise
• Recent PD or Associate PD experience required
• 3+ years of recent documented educational and/or administrative experience in an accredited ACGME program
• Demonstrated ability as a leader, educator, and clinician
• Recent history of scholarly activities/research
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
