You will work directly with children between the ages of 2 and 6 who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The role involves working as part of an interdisciplinary care team, supporting therapeutic activities designed by clinicians in behavior analysis, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. This is an entry-level position, and no prior certifications are required—we’ll provide all the training and ongoing support you need.
WhoShould Apply?
- Recent college graduate in psychology, child development, education, or a related field looking to build hands‑on experience
- Previous experience working with kids—preschool teacher, youth mentor, camp counselor, childcare worker, or similar
- Background in child‑focused healthcare or behavioral support roles (e.g., behavioral tech, child life specialist)
- Exploring a career change into mission‑driven work supporting families and young children
- Experience working with children (ages 2–6 preferred), either professionally or in structured volunteer settings
- Reliable communication skills and comfort interacting with families and care teams
- Willingness to learn new therapeutic techniques and work in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to meet physical activity demands: kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs., and being active and mobile throughout the day
- Reliable transportation to attend training and work at the assigned clinic location
- $21.00 - $28.00/hour with regular bonus and promotion opportunities
- Initial hourly pay between $21.00 - $22.50; considered for raise or promotion every 3 months
