The Automotive Reconditioning Technician at Emich Chevrolet is a skilled, full-time position within our auto industry division. A rare opportunity to join our tenured team. This is a full-time, commission-only role located in Lakewood, Colorado. As an individual contributor, you will provide high-quality reconditioning services to our Internal Sales vehicles. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail to ensure all vehicles leave our lot in top condition.

This is a commission-only position with a competitive hourly range of $25.00 to $55.00 per hour, depending on experience. The pay schedule is biweekly. • Perform thorough inspection of all incoming vehicles, identifying and documenting any damages or necessary repairs
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Utilize specialized tools to diagnose, repair and recondition vehicles, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and interior/exterior trim
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards
• Communicate effectively with Sales team members and management regarding any issues or concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and techniques to continuously improve skills
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and guidelines

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience as an Automotive Recondition Technician or in a similar role
• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in automotive reconditioning techniques
• Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair qualifications
• Dexterity and steady hand with excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude and eagerness to improve
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
