Supervisor, Admitting LAK FT Evening
Under the guidance of the Admitting Director, the Supervisor is responsible for day‑to‑day operations for the department, including PBX area management, staff scheduling and coaching, progressive discipline, staff education on new or revised processes, and maintaining accurate training for new hires while keeping the Patient Registration Director informed of all department operations and opportunities.

Responsibilities- Staff scheduling and coaching, including progressive discipline.
- Education of staff on new or revised processes.
- Maintain PBX area operations and inform Patient Registration Director.
- Accurate training of new hires.
- Minimum 2 years Registration or Business Office experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service skills appropriate to the job.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
- Supervisory or Management experience.
- Previous experience in Emergency Department Registration.
- Medical Terminology knowledge.
- Computer and Typing skills.
- Hearing and visual acuity.
- Manual dexterity to perform keyboard functions.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
