Radiologic Technologist / CT Tech
Position Description
Under the direction of the Medical Director and in conjunction with the Administrative Director of Imaging Services, performs various radiological procedures. Duties include limited monitoring of patients during procedures, performing specialized radiologic procedures according to departmental protocols, working with various equipment, assisting with QA and QI studies, patient scheduling, and crash cart monitoring. Technologist is expected to learn and perform with our Cerner information system and complete studies in our McKesson PACS system, and is expected to solve PACS issues during the shift.
Technologists complete all portable x-rays ordered ready for shift using independent judgment to obtain the best diagnostic images. Maintains and monitors equipment operation and calibration, assists as needed in maintaining relationships with physicians and staff, assists the Radiologist with contrast administration, and practices sterile technique and other duties as required.

HoursHours and Days will Vary: 7:30a - 8:00p (x‑ray), 11:00a - 11:30p (x‑ray), 7:30p - 8:00a (x‑ray), 7:00a - 7:30p (CT), 7:00p - 7:30a (CT).
Pay Range$37.00 - $55.00 hourly. Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications and experience.
Sign‑On BonusUp to $25,000 Sign‑On bonus based on experience.
Responsibilities- Limited monitoring of patients during procedures.
- Perform some specialized radiologic procedures according to departmental protocols.
- Work in various areas and with various equipment.
- Assist with QA and QI studies.
- Schedule patients and monitor crash cart.
- Learn and use the Cerner information system and complete studies in the McKesson PACS system.
- Solve PACS issues during the shift.
- Complete all portable x‑rays ordered ready for shift using independent judgment to obtain the best diagnostic images.
- Maintain and monitor equipment operation and calibration.
- Assist as needed in maintaining relationships with physicians and staff.
- Assist the Radiologist with contrast administration.
- Practice sterile technique and other duties as required.
- Graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology.
- Current Certified Radiology Tech (CRT) – California Radiologic Health Branch (RHB) Certification.
- Current Fluoroscopy License – required within one (1) year of hire.
- Special procedures, CT experience preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Cath Lab experience preferred.
- Annual Orientation, Annual Update, Ethics Training, BLS, Direct care providers, CPI, Fluoroscopic permit required within one (1) year of hire.
