Maintenance Mechanic – PRN
Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation
Location: Lakeway, TX
Employment Type: PRN (as needed)
Hours: Vary:
Mon–Fri and Sat–Sun 8 am–5 pm
Rate: $27 per hour
We currently have an opening for a PRN Maintenance Mechanic to cover our Lakeway Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital for on‑call and weekend hours.
A Maintenance Mechanic performs general mechanical and preventive tasks. Duties include inspection, service, drywall repair, painting, and overhaul of physical plant equipment, all performed with a focus on patient and employee safety. The role enhances the patient/employee experience by maintaining and improving the environment.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; trade or vocational school background preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance, repair, and safety procedures.
- Current and valid state driver license.
- 4–10 years of facility maintenance experience preferred.
