Overview
This is a teaching position that assists in the development, implementation and evaluation of school age care and enrichment activities, programs and services to children grades K-5 in a safe and enriching environment. Develops and implements age-appropriate theme based curriculum that aligns with the Minnesota School Age Indictors of Progress. Delivers a high standard of customer service including serving as the primary contact for program specific needs, problem solving, conflict resolution and making accommodations for all participants.
Works directly with large and small groups of children in planned activities throughout a variety of settings, such as: classroom, cafeteria, gym, playground and while on field trips.

- B.A. or B.S. Degree in Elementary Education (preferred)
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to work in settings of high volume.
- Able to work outdoors in various kinds of weather.
- Skilled in use of computer.
- 6.25 hours per day / Monday - Friday
- 31.25 hours per week
- 6:15 AM - 10:00 AM
- 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM
- 180 days plus field trips
- $25.41 - $28.62 per hour depending on experience
- Non-Licensed Instructors Contract
