We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Lakeville, Minnesota. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience. Key responsibilities include managing scheduling, data entry, and proofreading sensitive tax documents with accuracy and efficiency. You'll also assist with general office tasks, maintain records, and support daily operations to keep our office running smoothly.

Responsibilities:
- Greet clients upon arrival and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience.
- Schedule and manage appointments using calendar tools, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Review and proofread completed tax forms for errors and discrepancies.
- Assemble and organize final tax documents, ensuring all required materials are included.
- Perform data entry tasks in Excel, utilizing sorting functions for efficiency.
- Navigate and process Quick Books files provided by clients, including printing necessary documentation.
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for office records and documents.
- Assist with general administrative tasks such as answering calls and responding to emails.
- Utilize Outlook for managing communications and scheduling.
- Support front office operations with attention to detail.
Requirements
- Proven experience in administrative or receptionist roles, preferably in a tax consulting environment.
- Proficiency in scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in proofreading and reviewing documents.
- Familiarity with Quick Books and the ability to navigate client-provided files.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, including sorting and organizing data.
- Competence in using Microsoft Outlook for email and scheduling purposes.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service in an environment that requires attention to detail.
