Accounting Manager​/Supervisor

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Lakeville, Minnesota. In this role, you will lead and oversee accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate results.

- Manage and maintain the general ledger, including the preparation and review of journal entries.

- Create and analyze monthly financial statements and reports to support decision-making.

- Perform bank reconciliations and address any discrepancies efficiently.

- Ensure compliance with state and local regulations by managing and filing sales tax returns.

- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audit procedures.

- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement effective changes.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy of financial data and reporting. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

- A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or similar industries.

- Strong knowledge of U.S. accounting principles and internal control standards.

- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software systems.

- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
