Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis and reporting of all non-standard cost of goods sold (COGS) variances on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Oversee the annual standard cost update, including development, execution, and release
- Supervise accounting staff and ensure appropriate cross‑training to support budget and reforecast activities for non-standard COGS accounts
- Perform month‑end general ledger reconciliations to ensure accurate recognition and reporting of complex accruals and related expenses
- Review account reconciliations for accuracy, consistency, and compliance across assigned areas
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) through review of staff work and application of standards to own responsibilities
- Recommend and implement process improvements related to COGS reporting and financial analysis
