NEC is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of a Journeyman Lineman for its Reserve, New Mexico Office. The service territory covers 10,000 square miles, extending from Arizona’s White Mountains in the northeast to the northwestern region of New Mexico. NEC provides service to rural communities built on strong personal connections, where neighbors know one another—aligning with the cooperative’s values of trust, service, and community.
RESPONSIBILITIESPerform all phases of line and sub-station construction, operation, maintenance and service work in accordance with Navopache Electric standards and/or other governmental rules and regulations. Under the direct supervision of the Area Representative or other supervision depending on assignment and location.
QUALIFICATIONS4/10s The cooperative is currently on a 4/10 schedule (Monday through Thursday).
SALARYThe rate of pay for a Journeyman Lineman is $51.50/hr.
