Overview
Security/ Guest services officer required at Lakeside Village.
The role will include daily security operations at the site, CCTV monitoring, and patrols, along with customer service and contractor management. The candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to build a relationship confidently with all stakeholders, including retailers, customers, and contractors.
The candidate must be well-organised and possess good written and verbal skills to be able to keep and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of business activity.
The candidate must be a team player and will work closely with the centre management team on day-to-day operations and event security. They must also be flexible and available to work varied shift patterns, including days, weekends, and nights.
The role will also include, but not be limited to
- Key holding and management
- Crisis management and evacuation
- Health and safety inspections/audits
- Daily checks to ensure the centre is safe and free of the potential risk of accidents to users.
- Centre operations and event management
- Spot and stop all suspicious or potential criminal activity, with the ability to retain full control of a situation with confidence until the arrival of colleagues and/or emergency services.
- Confident speaking on the phone and radio.
- A valid front-line SIA Licence is required for the role, examples include Door Supervisor, Security Guarding, or Close Protection. A CCTV license is desirable.
- Smart appearance and attention to detail, along with the ability to use your own initiative.
- A reasonable level of fitness is required, as you will spend the majority of your shift on your feet patrolling the outlet.
- Security experience 1 year (required)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- SIA DS or MG licence (required)
- SIA CCTV licence (required)
