We are recruiting enthusiastic and customer‑focused Seasonal Crew Members to join our Lakeside team for the 2026 summer season. If you enjoy working outdoors, supporting vessel operations, and being part of a friendly and experienced team, this is a fantastic opportunity to spend your summer in one of the most scenic parts of the Lake District.
About the RoleAs a Seasonal Crew Member, you’ll support the safe and smooth operation of our vessels, ensuring our passengers enjoy a welcoming and memorable experience. Your duties will include:
- Assisting passengers with safe boarding and disembarkation
- Supporting the skipper with day‑to‑day onboard operations
- Providing excellent customer service and answering visitor queries
- Maintaining a tidy, safe, and presentable onboard environment
- Following safety procedures and contributing to a positive passenger experience
This is an active, hands‑on role where every day brings something different.
Hours and working patternWe offer two shift patterns:
- Full‑Time Shift Pattern — 4 days on / 2 days off
- Part‑Time / Job‑Share Shift Pattern — 2 days on / 4 days off
Both working patterns include:
- Occasional rostered evening shifts to support private charters
- Be part of a friendly, supportive team
- Enjoy a varied, hands‑on role with plenty of customer interaction
- Help visitors create memorable experiences on the water
- Perfect for students, outdoor lovers, or anyone seeking seasonal work in a beautiful setting
