We’re hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Med-Trans. This technician will be qualified to support our EC135 airframe and ensure we deliver safe, timely, and high‑quality transportation services.

Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs, and provide regular status updates to the Lead Technician.
  • Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, update tracking logs, place replacement requests when necessary, and document part expenditures.
  • Document service paperwork and FAA information as required, adhering to company policies, procedures, and information security standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
  • Use appropriate communication methods to coordinate efforts between departments, vendors, and team members.
  • Work collaboratively and professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as fellow AMTs and the operations team.
Minimum

Required Qualifications
  • EC135 maintenance experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience, including at least six (6) months of helicopter maintenance in the last 24 months
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
  • Valid state‑issued driver’s license
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Experience with EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records, and maintenance support and planning
  • Residency within one hour of base
  • Acceptance of FAA drug and alcohol testing program
  • Ability to push and/or pull over 100 lbs.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • FAA Inspection Authorization certification
  • Related experience under CFR Part 135
  • Autopilot maintenance experience
  • Avionics and electrical repair experience
