Xylem is looking for a Diesel Service Center Technician to service and maintain our commercial/industrial pumps and their mechanical and electrical components. Equipment-specific training is provided. Prior experience in a commercial or industrial mechanical environment is encouraged; training is available for the right candidate.

The Diesel Service Center Technician will be responsible for on-site troubleshooting, repair, and tracking of our commercial/industrial pumps and their mechanical and electrical components.

This position operates on a standard day shift, Monday through Friday.

You will be responsible for providing your own tools.

• On-site troubleshooting and repair of commercial/industrial pumps and associated mechanical and electrical components.
• Track service activities and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate repairs.

• HS diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years diesel mechanic experience preferred
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools and lifting equipment
• Mechanical aptitude with understanding of equipment repair and maintenance methods, materials, tools and techniques
• Ability to work independently with little supervision; self-motivated and self-directed
• Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug screen
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
