Job Summary
MOR PPM Inc. seeks an Industrial Carpenter in Lakeland, FL.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Cut, fabricate and install Industrial buildings and other structures according to specifications
* Job will entail working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructures and products
* A carpenter is an individual with great hand dexterity and an eye for detail
* Measure, layout, build forms, pour concrete and finish project.
* Ideal candidate will also have good knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials and masonry work
* Being able to work with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential.
Qualifications
* Must possess and maintain a valid State of Florida driver's license
* Must possess and maintain a valid telephone number
* At least one-year of form carpentry experience - job will provide all tools - may bring tool belt, tape measure, etc.
* Power Tools will be provided.
* Carpenter, Hand Tools, are required
Physical Demands
* Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through Docu Sign
* May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
* Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
* Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
* Must have full range of motion consistent with age
* Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
* Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
* Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
* Safety/Steel toe shoes are required. Fire resistant (FR's may be required)
