• Examine and treat companion animals to diagnose illness and injury
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and interpret lab and imaging results
• Counsel pet owners on preventative care and treatment options
• Perform surgical procedures and prescribe medications
• Provide supportive, compassionate end-of-life care guidance
• Maintain accurate, detailed medical records
• Adhere to veterinary ethics, laws, and practice protocols

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
• Active or eligible Florida veterinary license
• Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD licensure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, collaborative, and positive team approach
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and assist with larger pets or equipment
