Location: Lakeland, Florida
Schedule: Full-Time
Salary: $95,000–$100,000 annually

Breezy Hills Rehabilitation and Care Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. In this key role, you will work closely with and report directly to the Director of Nursing, helping to uphold exceptional clinical standards and ensuring continuity of care in the Director’s absence.

• Oversee and manage the facility’s Infection Prevention and Control Program

• Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based clinical policies and procedures

• Educate, mentor, and support nursing staff on infection control and resident care best practices

• Conduct routine audits, surveillance, and risk assessments

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care and regulatory compliance

• Maintain accurate and timely infection control documentation

• Participate in QAPI initiatives and promote continuous quality improvement

• Utilize Point Click Care  (PCC) effectively for documentation and reporting

• Active Florida RN license (required)

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing, or healthcare setting

• At least 6 months of rehabilitative or restorative nursing experience

• Strong knowledge of infection control standards and healthcare regulations

• Experience with PCC, infection prevention, and staff development

• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
