Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Facility: Bedrock Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Wedgewood

Location: Lakeland, FL

Shift: Full-Time, All Shifts

Pay Rate: Up to $33 per hour

• Administer and record medications and treatments accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare for and assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Observe and report patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and general condition to the appropriate individuals.
• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical procedures.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers of residents.
• Document nursing care in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Ensure compliance with infection control procedures and facility policies.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and implement appropriate interventions.
• Support CNAs and other nursing staff in providing high-quality patient care.
• Participate in care plan meetings and contribute to resident assessments.
• Educate residents and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
• Perform other job-related duties as required.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid LPN license in the state of Florida.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or a related setting.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
