Monday
- Friday 8:00am- 4:30pm (40 hours per week)

This position is responsible for:
Plans, develops and coordinates all phases of donor development and the solicitation of financial support for The Salvation Army programs and services for the Corps; plans, develops and coordinates public relation programs with the media, private and public sector organizations and churches; serves as liaison to the Divisional Headquarters Planned Giving Department.

• Contacts individuals, businesses, corporations, and organizations (Civic such as Rotary, Lions, etc.) and solicits funds to support The Salvation Army programs.
• Plans, develops and coordinates fund raising programs to increase revenue such as: special events, giving clubs, lapsed donor and acquisition of new donors.
• Coordinates and prepares for timely submission of all grant proposals, as well as subsequent reports required by grants awarded.
• Plans, develops, coordinates and monitors all programs involved with receipting contributions, thank you letters, donor appreciation, and information (newsletters).

Physical Requirements and

Working Conditions:

Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time.

Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking.

Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university AND

Three year's experience working in a fund-raising position OR

any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
