Job title: Order Processing Operator
Reporting to: Order Processing Supervisor
Location: Lakeland, USA
The Order Processing Operator is responsible for preparing outgoing products for shipment. It is the Order Processing Operator’s responsibility to confirm all orders are accurate, complete, in ship-ready condition and meet all packing safety and transportation requirements. This includes boxing, labelling, palletizing, wrapping, and inspection of all pieces, labels and accompanying instructions. The Packing Operator will also review, maintain and complete various order documentation, reports, forms and archives to ensure timely and accurate completion by deadlines.

Physically review, fill, check, label, palletize, and box orders; confirm accuracy/completion; meet target ship-ready dates;
maintain packing records, logs, reports, and inventory data; identify and correct instruction discrepancies; archive and transmit paperwork;
monitor reports and boards to prepare for upcoming orders; return damaged/cancelled/modified orders to Inventory; resolve rush/modified orders;
operate forklifts, jacks, pallet wrapper, banders and tools safely; perform cleaning, maintenance, safety tasks; assist logistics teams;
foster employee health & safety and food safety culture; act in the best interests of Treatt PLC; other duties as assigned.
- Safe work habits; overtime as needed.
- Basic math; clear documentation.
- Forklift operation in warehouse/production.
- Use of packaging tools/machinery (scan guns, tape machines, pallet wrappers, bung wrenches, box/pallet types).
- Preferred typing and familiarity with Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Physical capabilities as listed; lift up to 50 lbs.
- Preferred Hazardous Materials certifications.
- Knowledge of GMP; read/understand SDS.
- Creative/analytical thinking: optimize logistics; evaluate processes; synthesize improvements; sound judgement.
- Communication: speak, listen, write well; participate in reports, meetings, trainings.
