$40,000.00/yr - $55,000.00/yr

• Operating all equipment in the department including mixers, pumps, lifts, hoists, bowl cutters, scales, cabbage spinners and cross‑fed belts.
• Assembling and disassembling equipment.
• Practicing strict sanitation and GMP practices to ensure food‑safe products.
• Gathering, prepping, and weighing fresh ingredients.
• Accurately following recipes.
• Monitoring temperatures.
• Gathering samples for quality control.
• Maintaining run sheets for cost accounting.
• Tracking inventory of fresh ingredients.
• Documenting environmental concerns for QA and USDA.
• Maintaining accurate documentation on quality, production and sanitation.
• Providing timely and accurate communication to the salad room operator concerning production needs and other duties.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Demonstrate safe working habits.
• Able to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to push roll tubs that weigh over 650 pounds.
• Ability to learn and perform all positions.
• Can work in a fast‑paced environment.

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus equals 15 hours of pay, in the second year it equals one week’s pay if the associate remains employed through the date of the bonus check. In subsequent years the bonus equals two weeks’ pay.
