The General Labor position(s) are responsible for all activities associated with the operation, set‑up, cleaning, preventative maintenance, and recommending improvements to the processes, procedures, and/or operation. • Follow & Adhere to all Safety Rules & Policies
• Understand machine set‑up techniques for the Die Cutter – (i.e.: print plates and die boards)
• Inspect all dies before and after each run to ensure that any and ALL repairs are made BEFORE the next run
• and adhere to specifications for each customer order and ensure print quality is in accordance with all required specifications
• Maximize the utilization of the equipment by operating the machinery at peak capacity and speed
• Crosstrain on other machines when possible and necessary
• Completion of required reports in an accurate and timely manner including:
  Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, Quality Data, and any other reporting requested by your Supervisor
• Completing Maintenance Work Orders for necessary repairs.
• Preventative Maintenance
• Installation of Die Boards and Print Plates
• Training for new hires to the machine center
• Ensuring the crew is working safely and report any safety issues to your Supervisor

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment

• Experience in the corrugated box industry

• Ability to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume, and rate.
• Ability to apply concepts of High School Math
• Ability to solve practical problems and not so practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
