• Review pertinent information with the previous shift (e.g., mechanical issues).
• Straighten the product prior to the slicer.
• Monitor slicer infeed to prevent jam-ups.
• Take thrift or damaged product off the line.
• Rack off product if line breaks down.
• Pack the product into baskets in accordance with the specifications.
• Remove all baskets that are broken and store them in a pre-determined area.
• Assist the Bagger Operator and the Packaging Attendant when possible.
• Put on and take off lids.
• Remove trash as necessary.
• Neatly and accurately fill out all necessary documentation (e.g., HACCP – CTS).
• Maintain a safe, neat, and clean work area in accordance with GMP and good housekeeping practices.
• Communicate with co‑workers and supervisors.
• Follow all JSA guidelines.
• May have to train on a different shift for the position.

Personal Protective Equipment (JSA’s), raisin table, bread slicer, bagger, conveyors, stacker, baskets/dollies, housekeeping equipment.

• Rarely 1 – 5% of the shift (4.5 min – 25 min).
• Occasionally 6 – 33% of the shift (27 min – 2 hr 45 min).
• Frequently 34 – 66% of the shift (3 hr – 5 hr).
• Continuously 67 – 100% of the shift (5 hr – 7.5 hr).
• Standing and walking — continuously.
• Turning body side to side — continuously.
• Lifting product weighing 2 – 30 lb — occasionally.
• Crouching — rarely.
• Reach or lift 3 – 10 lb over shoulder level — rarely.
• Push/pull force — rarely.
• Forward bending — occasionally.
• Visualize — continuously.

• 12‑hour shift. Overtime is required.
• Environment:
  Noise levels will be minimal to moderate. Temperature will range from controlled to very warm. Lighting is sufficient. There is a possibility of slippery footing from wet and dry ingredients.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job‑related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
