Fabrication - Mill Machinist

Blue Linx is looking for a Fabrication-Mill Machinist to assist in our distribution center. Our Material Handlers assist us with safely loading our trucks and unloading our railcars. • Must have ability to operate rip saw, band saw, dario(scroll) saw and planer as well as ability to set up same
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Experience with wood scrolls and brackets
• Check all outbound orders for accuracy and quality
• Maintain equipment and notify Mill Manager of needed maintenance supplies
• Assist to train others in resaw and planer operations
• Other duties as assigned

Prior experience in mill operations required.
