Job Overview

Refresco Beverages US, Inc. is an independent beverage solutions provider, serving national and international retailers and brands. We are hiring a forklift operator for our warehouse operations.

Shifts: Dayshift – 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and occasional weekends.

Pay: $19.50 per hour.

• Adhere to all health and safety policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Follow food quality and safety guidelines per Refresco, customer, and governing bodies such as SQF.
• Load and unload raw materials from incoming trucks, validate quantities using blind count sheets or SAP transactions on forklift computers.
• Operate SAP database through Vehicle Mounted Units (VMUs) on forklifts.
• Load/unload trucks and perform all other warehouse functions within SAP using the forklift VMU.
• Operate powered industrial trucks (PITs) in a high‑paced environment and be in‑house forklift certified.
• Supply raw materials to production lines as required.
• Perform pre‑trip forklift inspections and adhere to forklift battery or propane tank changing operations and safety procedures.
• Use dock levelers, dock restraints, and dock doors appropriately.
• Apply basic loading patterns for inter‑warehouse transfers.
• Perform SAP cycle count on a location; query a location and pallet tag, and make basic pallet case adjustments.
• Proficient in receiving functions, VNA turret truck operations, or perform transfers and putaways at any warehouse site.
• Execute any other driving activities as directed by leadership.
• Clean and maintain work areas throughout the shift.
• May have production machine operation duties.

• Read and write job instructions in the specified acceptable language(s) for the location.
• Perform basic computer functions.
• Demonstrate operation of powered industrial trucks.
• Hold forklift certification from an approved Refresco trainer.
• Experience with SAP: use PUTAWAY and TRANSFER functions for finished goods movement and scan products.

• Problem‑solving skills: identify and resolve operational issues quickly.
• Technology: familiarity with warehouse management software for tracking inventory and logistics.
• Technology: basic computer skills for operating production software and logging data.
• Cognitive: analyze data and process parameters to optimize production.
• Safety and risk management: participate in safety audits and inspections.

• High school certification or equivalent (GED).
• 3+ years of forklift operation experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).

• Work schedule:
  
  weekdays, weekends, afternoons, evenings, nights, and holidays may be required; overtime scheduled as needed.
• Environment: fast‑paced production plant with moving parts; noise level requires hearing protection; temperatures can be very hot or relatively cold; environment is structured and supervised.
