On-site Account Manager

Location: Lakeland (Managing Multiple Client Accounts)
Salary Range: $42,500 – $45,000 annually (Exempt) plus gas allowance

Job Summary

The Account Manager serves as the primary liaison between clients, internal operations, and onsite event staff to ensure seamless staffing execution and exceptional customer service. This role is responsible for overseeing staffing operations for multiple client accounts, while managing recruiting, scheduling, onboarding, payroll coordination, compliance, and onsite supervision.

This position requires strong organization, professionalism, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The Account Manager will travel to multiple client locations throughout Central, West, and East Florida as needed.

Key Responsibilities Client & Account Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client leadership, venue management, and department supervisors.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with a customer-first approach.
  • Respond to client needs and concerns promptly, especially during live events.
  • Request and document client feedback following major events.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all client operations.
Staffing & Workforce Management
  • Obtain weekly event schedules and confirm event types and staffing requirements.
  • Develop staffing plans and recruit, schedule, and confirm staff availability.
  • Ensure full coverage for all required positions, including securing backup staff for call-offs.
  • Send finalized staffing rosters to clients for approval.
  • Ensure all staff meet attendance, uniform, and performance expectations.
  • Identify proper candidate placement based on skill set and job requirements.
  • Arrive onsite prior to staff check-in times, as needed per client request.
  • Conduct employee check-ins and check-outs.
  • Verify uniform compliance.
  • Replace no-shows using float or backup staff.
  • Document incidents, staff issues, and operational concerns.
Compliance, Safety & HR Functions
  • Ensure completion and accuracy of new hire documentation.
  • Orient new team members to client-specific policies, safety procedures, and expectations.
  • Schedule and manage background checks and drug screenings.
  • Monitor and control PPE and uniforms as required by client.
  • Facilitate work-related injuries according to established procedures.
  • Administer employee performance appraisals and disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Communicate employee status changes to the Payroll Manager (hires, terminations, reassignments).
Emergency & Quality Control
  • Follow all client emergency protocols, including evacuation, severe weather, and medical emergencies.
  • Immediately notify client leadership and follow their direction during emergencies.
  • Monitor staff performance continuously and make changes as necessary.
  • Maintain professional conduct, neutrality, and factual documentation at all times.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience in staffing, event operations, or human resources preferred.
  • Ability to travel between multiple client locations across Central and East Florida.
Work Environment & Schedule
  • Hybrid role with onsite event coverage required.
  • Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required based on event schedules.
  • Driving to multiple client sites weekly is required.
