Are you a rising senior (entering your senior or 5th year) who is looking to make a move into Publix Technology? Our Digital & Omnichannel Merchandising team is adding an analytics trainee part-time. As part of the team, you will be responsible for providing analysis, recommendations, planning, performance measurement, technical support, and project support for the Digital & Omnichannel department.

Your Impact

• Providing analytical business services, both individually and through cross-functional teams
• Supporting tactical projects, requests, and other analytical needs
• Preparing and summarizing conclusions for various ad-hoc requests to support management in answering business questions
• Developing the databases, worksheets, and queries for capturing and reporting useful
• Information to enable fact-based decision making.
• Utilizing varied data sources such as Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), Adobe Analytics, etc. and applications such as Alteryx, Microsoft Access, Power
  
  BI, and Excel
• Communicating with various levels within Publix, such as I/S and Marketing
• Performing various other tasks as needed

• Pursuing a college degree at an accredited college/university, studying one of the following disciplines:
  Business, Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Statistics
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications, with an emphasis on MS Excel
• Must be able to gather data from multiple sources and compile it in a user-friendly format, ensuring it meets customer needs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle a high volume of work accurately and timely

• Experience with Microsoft Power App creation

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check.

In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
