As an Industrial Engineer you'll play a critical role in optimizing production processes for our high‑volume, high‑security manufacturing of instant scratch‑off lottery tickets. This position focuses on improving operational efficiency, ensuring consistent product quality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across our printing, finishing, packaging, and distribution workflows. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capability, Lean mindset, and a passion for process optimization in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
WhatYou'll Do
- Analyze current production processes across printing, coating, finishing, and packaging to identify opportunities for increased throughput, reduced waste, and optimized labor utilization.
- Design and implement engineered labor standards and production workflows.
- Conduct time studies, capacity analyses, and line balancing to support operational planning.
- Lead and support Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen activities to drive measurable performance gains.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions for production bottlenecks or recurring issues.
- Use manufacturing data (OEE, scrap, downtime, cycle time, etc.) to diagnose performance trends and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop dashboards and reporting tools that improve decision‑making.
- Support forecasting, capacity planning, and layout optimization.
- Partner with Quality teams to ensure processes meet regulatory, customer, and internal standards specific to secure lottery product manufacturing.
- Recommend improvements to maintain product integrity, print quality, and security protocols.
- Assist with ergonomic assessments, safety audits, and risk reduction initiatives.
- Lead small‑to‑medium capital and process improvement projects, including equipment upgrades, new technology integration, and workflow redesign.
- Work with vendors, maintenance, and operations to support equipment trials and commissioning.
- Provide engineering support during new product introductions (NPIs).
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (printing, CPG, packaging, or similar preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, statistical analysis, and process modeling.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with time studies, workflow analysis, and industrial engineering tools.
- Experience in high‑speed printing, converting, or packaging operations.
- Familiarity with secure or regulated manufacturing environments.
- Experience with CAD tools for layout design (AutoCAD, Solid Works, or similar).
- Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or other analytics platforms.
