Job Description Summary
The Instructional Multimedia Specialist supports high‑quality teaching and learning by designing engaging and interactive content for online, hybrid, and face‑to‑face courses. This role collaborates with faculty and staff to develop effective online and face‑to‑face learning experiences, aligning with best practices in instructional design. The Instructional Multimedia Specialist assists in developing and delivering training for faculty and staff on course design, video production, and the use of media to enhance student success.
This position often works on multiple projects concurrently and must create project plans and deliver results on time.
Position will have many different responsibilities including:
- Video production and editing
- Audio production and editing
- Graphic design
- Assisting faculty, staff, and students with projects
- Interactive media development
- Customer service
- Other tasks as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in communication, digital media or other applicable areas, or three (3) years of experience.
- Must have video editing experience.
- Must be able to work well with people and have effective communication skills.
- Must have strong grammatical skills and be able to produce professional emails for facilitating interaction with faculty, staff, and students.
- Candidates should be fluent with Adobe products, especially Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Audition.
- Must be detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.

- Positive interactivity with clients and being able to provide support to those individuals in an organized and timely fashion.
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (particularly Premiere Pro, Audition, and Photoshop)
- This position requires a criminal background check.
- This position is subject to federal and state privacy regulations.
This is an hourly, non‑exempt OPS position. The normal work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; however, occasional overtime or on‑campus event work (including weekends and evenings) may be required.
Expected Starting Salary$29.00 hourly
