Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Lakeland, FL, for a Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) Instructor. The DMS Instructor is responsible for delivering engaging educational content and hands‑on training, preparing detailed lesson plans, and maintaining a supportive learning environment. Responsibilities include evaluating student performance, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring alignment with program goals and industry standards. Additional duties may involve participation in curriculum development and collaboration with faculty to continuously improve the program’s effectiveness.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in the field of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and proficiency in sonographic techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Strong teaching or training skills, including the ability to develop lesson plans, deliver engaging lectures, and mentor diverse student groups effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with faculty, staff, and students in a professional academic environment.
  • Experience in program development, curriculum design, or contributing to accreditation standards is a plus.
  • A relevant degree in Sonography or a related field (Bachelor’s required, Master’s preferred) and current professional certification (e.g., RDMS).
