Role Mission: The School Monitor is responsible for ensuring the safety of students by providing supervisory monitoring at various times of the day, including before/after school and during lunch and recess.

- Education:
High School Diploma or GED - Experience working with students preferred
- Provide a safe and orderly environment for students
- Monitor students during bus drop‑off, arrival, and after school
- Monitor halls during student arrival and lunch
- Maintain assigned lunch schedule for all grade levels without delay
- Supervise and assist students through the serving line to keep lunch periods on schedule
- Supervise the lunchroom to maintain orderly conduct
- Supervise students during recess and rotate through the lunchroom at scheduled times
- Assist with general food needs, such as opening food containers, discarding food during meals, and keeping the cafeteria clean
- Assist and support student behavior management, referring and communicating behavioral concerns to appropriate administrative personnel
- Perform related duties as required
