OB Hospitalist in Lakeland, Florida. x -hour shifts

Orlando Health Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced OB Hospitalist to join our growing Womens Health team at our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Lakeland, Florida. This is a full-time position offering a flexible schedule of seven 24-hour shifts per month, providing comprehensive inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care. You will be supported by a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to ensure collaborative, high-quality care for our patients.

Highlights/Responsibilities:

• Provide 24-hour in-house coverage for labor and delivery, triage, obstetric and gynecologic emergencies, and postpartum care.
• Full-time physicians enjoy a flexible monthly schedule of seven 24/hour shifts.
• Ability to pick up additional shifts. No on-call.
• Manage unassigned OB patients and support private-practice physicians as needed.
• Perform deliveries, cesarean sections, and other emergent gynecologic surgeries.
• Collaborate with CNMs, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Qualifications:

• MD/DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (cert required within 3 years) by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Florida or ability to obtain one.
• Minimum of 3 years of post-residency OB/GYN experience is highly preferred.

• Excellent compensation package with base compensation beginning at $380,000/year, plus $75,000 starting bonus, plus annual performance incentive, plus annual retention bonus!
