Supervisor, Construction, Site Manager

We are seeking an experienced Earthwork Foreman to lead field crews on large-scale excavation, grading, and site development projects near Bartow, Florida. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily earthmoving operations, ensuring productivity, maintaining safety standards, and delivering high-quality work on schedule.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in mass grading and heavy civil projects and can effectively manage crews, equipment, and site logistics.

• Supervise and lead earthwork crews in excavation, grading, and site preparation
• Coordinate daily field activities to meet project schedules and production goals
• Operate equipment as needed (dozers, excavators, loaders, graders, etc.)
• Read and interpret site plans, grades, and specifications
• Ensure proper elevations and compaction requirements are achieved
• Maintain strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies
• Communicate effectively with superintendents, project managers, and subcontractors
• Track daily production and assist with reporting

• 5+ years of experience in earthwork, mass excavation, or heavy civil construction
• 2+ years in a foreman or lead role preferred
• Strong knowledge of grading, site development, and large‑scale dirt work
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and grade stakes
