Responsibilities

As an Automotive Master Technician at Midas, your role will include a wide range of responsibilities such as:

• Performing diagnostics using advanced computer systems
• Electrical diagnostics and repairs (must)
• Tire services and repairs
• Heating and air conditioning system service
• Steering and suspension maintenance and repairs
• Belt and hose replacement
• Radiator and engine cooling system service
• Battery, starting, and charging system service
• Brake inspection and repair
• Oil changes and routine maintenance
• Exhaust and muffler services
• Addressing check engine light issues
• Conducting visual safety and courtesy inspections

Qualifications

We’re looking for a candidate who demonstrates:

• Strong ability to diagnose and repair vehicles independently
• Proven experience working effectively within a team environment
• Solid understanding of brake systems, exhaust, suspension, and engine diagnostics
• High standards of personal productivity and attention to detail
• Adherence to safety and environmental standards for repair facilities
• Experience with shop equipment such as lifts, tire changers, alignment machines, and scan tools
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree a plus
• Valid driver’s license
• Own set of tools (tools preferred)
• Ability to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
• State-specific auto repair certifications (where applicable)
