Position: Business Office Manager
Facility: Wedgewood Healthcare and Rehabilitation
Location: Wedgewood Healthcare and Rehabilitation
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday
Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 annually

Join Our Team! Wedgewood Healthcare and Rehabilitation is committed to fostering a compassionate, supportive, and team-focused environment for both our residents and staff. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Office Manager to support the daily administrative and financial operations of our facility. This role is essential to maintaining smooth communication, organized workflows, and exceptional service for residents, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist administrative staff and act as a central point of communication between the Administrator’s office and all departments.
  • Provide administrative support across departments for both short-term and long-term needs.
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate communication with external agencies, including government and third-party payors.
  • Serve as a liaison between families, residents, and external agencies to ensure clear and timely communication.
  • Welcome visitors, manage reception duties, and maintain a professional, friendly office atmosphere.
  • Support financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll coordination.
  • Assist Human Resources with onboarding, including paperwork, background checks, payroll changes, and  creation.
  • Coordinate and manage workers’ compensation, FMLA, and disability documentation.
  • Perform weekly travel to bank, post office, and other required locations.
  • Complete additional administrative projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or healthcare business office setting.
  • Strong understanding of financial reports with the ability to interpret and act on them effectively.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, office software, and standard office equipment.
  • Ability to make sound, independent decisions.
  • Proactive approach to improving processes and adapting to new systems.
