ECHO Incorporated is looking for a motivated Summer Student Inventory Control Intern to join our team! In this hands‑on role, you’ll support the Inventory team with cycle counting, material movement, and warehouse system transactions. This is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience in warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and the use of a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
1st Shift M-F 7:00am-3:30pm!
$17/HR
Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily and weekly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Operate a forklift to move materials as needed (training provided if necessary)
- Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to document inventory transactions
- Support inventory investigations and help resolve discrepancies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines
- Work closely with the Inventory team and designated mentor for training and support
- Interest in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Willingness to work in a warehouse environment
- Understanding of inventory control processes
- Hands‑on experience with warehouse systems and equipment
- Exposure to real‑world supply chain and logistics operations
- Development of workplace professionalism and teamwork skills
