Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative to develop new business, support existing customer relationships, and drive profitable growth. This role is ideal for someone who understands distribution sales dynamics, enjoys building relationships, and is curious enough to uncover the need behind the need in every customer interaction. The right candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing quotes and order flow in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively develop business with targeted new customers and markets.
  • Support incoming inquiries and build strong customer relationships through a consultative sales approach.
  • Prepare, track, and follow up on sales quotations.
  • Enter and manage sales orders accurately in the Net Suite ERP system.
  • Understand customer project requirements and recommend appropriate product solutions.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure on-time delivery and high service levels.
  • Maintain and update CRM/ERP records for pipeline visibility and forecasting.
  • Meet or exceed established sales activity and revenue goals.
Qualifications
  • 3–5+ years of inside sales experience, ideally in distribution, manufacturing, electrical, industrial, or construction supply markets.
  • Experience in solution or consultative selling – able to ask smart questions, uncover project needs, and position value.
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills; able to manage multiple quotes and orders at once.
  • Previous experience with Net Suite or similar ERP systems highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
