About the Role

This role supports the practice by ensuring unsurpassed patient experiences when selecting eyewear or other products. It helps establish the practice as the premier destination for all vision needs within the community.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
  • Greets all patients with a warm welcome and demonstrates urgency in providing service.
  • Explores patients’ needs and priorities, linking to practice offerings, including eye exams.
  • Attentive to detail, asks clarifying questions, and consults with the Optician as needed.
  • Demonstrates superior product knowledge and accurately describes features and benefits of all products.
  • Anticipates problems, explores underlying reasons for issues, and strives to develop long‑term solutions.
  • Possesses the ability to multi‑task and demonstrate prioritization and time management with competing priorities.
  • Custom‑fits glasses and precisely places prescription in lenses.
  • Commits to delivery date and time, sets pick‑up expectations, seeks feedback, and asks for referrals.
  • Strives to achieve exceptional results on goals and competencies.
  • Operates the point‑of‑sale system, inputting patient information accurately and attending to operational processes for sales transactions.
  • Prepares patients for product pick‑up, presenting, celebrating, and educating.
  • Takes pride in the appearance of the practice, keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
  • Informs management of potential safety opportunities.
  • Adheres to attendance and daily time‑keeping requirements and all company policies.
  • Engages in sales when opportunities arise (80‑100% of the time).
  • Maintains proper dress code.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Practice Manager or as business needs dictate.
Basic Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong basic math skills.
  • Effective selling skills.
  • Familiarity with technology such as point‑of‑sale, patient record systems, or other software applications.
  • Embraces new technology and change.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in eyecare or vision‑related sales.
  • Prior sales experience.
Pay Range

Hourly: $15.00 – $20.03
