Crane Operator

Southland Holdings is a long-standing company dedicated to building critical infrastructure projects.

We are looking for an experienced Crane Operator to join our team on a large roadway project in Lake Worth, FL.

• Required license or nationally accredited certification: NCCCO (CCO) or NCCER certification.
• Must be physically capable of navigating rugged terrain.
• Must work in all weather conditions, prepared for extreme heat and cold.
• Must pass a post‑offer drug screen.
• Other skills: analytical and problem‑solving, knowledge of sub‑base materials, aggregation placement and compaction, knowledge of workplace safety, dumping service, and heavy lifting requirements.

• Safe operation of a crane.
• Handling and moving material, including concrete piles.
• Maintain daily logs of equipment usage and maintenance.
• Daily maintenance of equipment – identify, report, and correct hazards.
• Perform tasks maintaining all health, safety, and environmental rules, ensuring the safety of the work environment.
• Read and locate sheets and possible underground and/or overhead utilities.
• Perform backing up procedures, use of flagmen and spotters, signage, incident reporting, required personal safety equipment, and lifting of heavy loads.
