Job Summary: Join our team at Terraces of Lake Worth Care Center, a premier sub‑acute care and rehabilitation facility in Lake Worth, FL, where we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Wound Care Nurse to join our healthcare team, working every other weekend. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high‑quality wound care services to our residents, promoting healing, and improving their overall well‑being.
Location: Lake Worth, FL
Pay: $40.00/hour
Shift: 2 Days a week (Every Other Weekend) – 24 hr/week part time
Responsibilities- Provide wound care services to residents, including assessing, treating, and monitoring wounds
- Develop and implement individualized wound care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
- Conduct wound assessments, document findings, and develop treatment plans
- Administer wound care treatments, such as dressing changes, debridement, and irrigation
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Educate residents and families on wound care management and prevention strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely records of wound care services and treatments
- Current RN license in the state of Florida
- Minimum 1 year of experience in wound care or similar setting
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge in wound care management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work every other weekend
