Medical Receptionist

As a receptionist you'll ensure every patient feels valued from the moment they arrive, functioning as the welcoming face of our healthcare facility. You will report to the Clinic Manager/Center Administrator and be a part of the front desk team.

As a receptionist you will perform clinical tasks such as:

• Answer direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to patient inquiries
• Greet patients, verify demographics, and prepare them for exams
• Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Schedule appointments, procedures, and surgeries
• Process patient payments and handle billing-related tasks

• 1+ years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Certification in medical reception, medical administration, or a related field
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and practice management systems
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations protocols
• This is a patient-facing role and part of our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. We require TB screening upon hire

• Value-based care model experience
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana’s Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

Monday to Friday 8:00 am

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$38,000 - $45,800 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
