As a Curriculum Resource Teacher, you will be responsible for providing curriculum training and support to teachers and assisting with curriculum implementation as directed by school leadership, including supporting prior week of NTI.

You will conduct ongoing staff development, perform periodic classroom visitations, collect and report quarterly student data, and monitor programs.

How You Will Impact Education
  • Develop and conduct in‑service training for all teachers regarding the curriculum, research‑based instructional strategies, and best practices.
  • Provide support to school administration in preparation for New Teacher Induction (NTI) / Returning Teacher Orientation (RTO) approximately one week prior to the start of teacher training and one week post‑end of school year.
  • Perform periodic classroom visitations, assist teachers in improving instructional performance, conduct binder reviews, and monitor improvement.
  • Demonstrate lessons in classroom situations for teacher observation.
  • Train new teachers in the use of the applicable Student Information System (SIS) and school‑based resources and procedures.
  • Facilitate grade‑level and/or subject‑area team meetings.
  • Serve as a resource to school administrators and content‑area teachers in identifying reading needs, adapting instructional techniques, and implementing reading strategies across the curriculum.
  • Assist with the development of school literacy initiatives.
  • Collect, analyze, and report school and student benchmark data.
  • Initiate and maintain effective liaisons with district and professional associations to stay current on reading and instructional best practices.
  • Attend monthly CSUSA Curriculum Cadres.

  • Consistent implementation of best practices and positive character education.
  • Thorough understanding of The Art & Science of Teaching (Robert Marzano).
