Position SummaryThe primary duties of the Driver Recruitment Processor are to process, clear and screen all applicants applying for a driving position with Oakley.
Responsibilities- Works closely with designated Recruiter to process and qualify driver applicants.
- Run Motor Vehicle, Criminal History, PSP, and other consumer reports on driver applicants.
- Call references and verify work histories on all driver applicants prior to arrival to orientation.
- Investigate all gaps in employment to get 10 year work history.
- Communicate with the applicant to obtain any missing information.
- Work with the Safety & Compliance Department to complete the driver qualification file.
- Arrange travel and lodging for new driver recruits to orientation.
- Provide periodic support for the Driver Orientation Process when necessary.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
Enjoy high volume phone work. Must have excellent follow through. Experience working in a driver recruitment department a plus. Excellent computer skills are required. Strong Organisational /Communication / Logistical skills with solid problem-solving abilities, ability to prioritize workload, and attention to detail. Effective interpersonal communication skills- both oral and written, pleasant but assertive-persuasive telephone personality. Ability to type and use personal computers, submit reports using MS Office and internal software programs.
Ability to work within a team by providing support to other team members. Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Knowledge of Federal and State DOT rules and regulations a plus. Experience with Tenthstreet ATS preferred.
