As a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality medical care to patients in urgent need. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of providing excellent healthcare services, ensuring timely and effective treatment in emergency situations.

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans
• Stabilize patients in critical condition and manage acute medical situations
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records
• Participate in continuous education and training initiatives
• Adhere to all hospital protocols and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment options

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Active medical license to practice in the state of Florida
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
• Strong clinical skills and experience in an emergency medicine setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
• Experience in a locum tenens role is a plus

Schedule:

12-hour day or night shifts

Annual Volume: 26k patients

14-bed ED

Rapid responses and codes required

Support Staff: APPs

Must be board-certified
